Wavership

A wavership is a relationship of which the exact nature changes. It could be romantic one day, quasiplatonic another, or soft romantic, just a friendship, something in between these, etc. The reason why I have this ship category is because I'm biflux, so sometimes I'm romantically attracted to women, sometimes I am not. Still, they're important to me regardless and deserve to have their own section on the list.

Basic Backstory

Selenite is a talented Alchemist who has decided that staying neutral in the conflict between The Black Mage and the heroes trying to stop him would be the best way to run their business. They service clients from both sides and keeps their mouth shut when asked about what they think about the conflict or those on the other side. They wanted to fight against The Black Mage but they’re incapable of battle magic. In fact, the only magic they can do are things related to alchemy. They’re poor and unintentionally undervalues their services (due to lack of confidence) often so they don’t earn much money, even though their potions are high quality. This is part of the reason why they’re neutral - if they want to pay their bills, they have to work for both sides. Sometimes they have to hire adventurers or heroes as guards so they can obtain rare materials for alchemy that are hidden in areas filled with monsters. Most of the things they need are in the areas next to Ardentmill so they don’t have to worry about that often.

Will

Selenite first met Will when they were working their stall in Ellinia. They ended up meeting “coincidentally” in a variety of areas (in truth, Will was using his spiders to spy on them, though they doesn’t know this) and became friends. Will does know that they’re neutral. He convinces himself that he’ll be able to convince them to be firmly on the side of the Black Mage at some point. Eventually, they started dating. Selenite does know he’s a Black Mage Commander, and that does bother them quite a bit, but because of their “neutral” stance on it, they pretend it doesn’t.
